Dorking Rugby Football Club (DRFC)
Formed in 1921, Dorking Rugby Club is a leading Surrey Club. Dorking is a club for the whole community with 5 Senior Teams, a rejuvenated Womens’ section, and a thriving youth & Mini section of over 600 children made up of Junior (U18-U12), Kids First (U11-U5)& Girls Sections.
Years of dedication and hard work by the playing squad combined with a strong support team of coaches, physios, supporters, partners and sponsors have been rewarded by unprecedented levels of success for Dorking Rugby Football Club in recent seasons, culminating in the Centenary year of 2021-22 which saw the 1st XV promoted back into the National Leagues for the first time since 2016.
Dorking is also home to one of the largest rugby festivals in the country: Dorking Mini Festival which hosts over 1000 children each March/April.
Throughout the club, Dorking ideals reflect the RFU’s core values of: Teamwork, Discipline, Enjoyment, Sportsmanship and Respect.
Whilst the club is ambitious, they also have a strong family ethos, derived from a commitment to youth rugby for all age groups.

Steven Tiley
Born in Canterbury, England, Steven Tiley, an English professional golfer attended Georgia State University before turning professional in 2007.
He has played in Asia and Europe, and first hit the headlines after carding a 66 on the opening day of The 139th Open Championship in 2010 only to be overshadowed by Rory McIlroy, who went three shots lower.
Steven has won three times on the Jamega Pro Golf Tour in the UK, and he has also won the Egyptian Open in 2009, a year before the event joined the Challenge Tour.
In 2019, he earned his maiden Challenge Tour victory at Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge.

Jonathan “Jigger” Thomson: The Tallest Player in European Tour History
Jonathan Thomson, known affectionately as Jigger, stands out not only for his towering height of 6 feet 9 inches but also for his notable achievements in professional golf. Here’s a brief look at his golfing journey:
The Tallest Player in European Tour History:
In 2017, Jigger Thomson earned the distinction of becoming the tallest player in the history of the European Tour. This marked the beginning of a remarkable career in professional golf.
A Memorable Open Championship Debut:
In 2021, Jigger made his debut at The Open Championship held at Royal St George’s. During the tournament, he achieved a remarkable feat—a hole-in-one on the 16th hole. The experience left him in awe, describing it as “phenomenal” and a dream come true.
From Rotherham Golf Club to The Open:
Jigger’s golfing journey started at the age of five at Rotherham Golf Club. There, he practiced alongside future Masters winner Danny Willett. However, his path to professional golf was not without challenges. He battled leukaemia for five years but never lost his passion for the sport. When impact sports were no longer an option, he focused on perfecting his golf game.
Record-Breaking Birdies:
In January 2020, Jigger Thomson achieved a remarkable feat by equalling a long-standing world record. On the Portugal Pro Tour, he recorded an astonishing nine consecutive birdies, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication.

Ollie Jackson – Porsche Carrera Cup GB
Beavis Morgan is proud once again to sponsor former BTCC race winner Ollie Jackson, who returns to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB with Joe Tandy Racing for the 2023 season.
The 38-year-old from Reigate in Surrey last raced in Porsche Carrera Cup GB back in 2010 winning the Pro-Am championship with 11 wins from 20 races.
Ollie then moved to British GT for 2011 in the works backed Lotus Team racing the then new Lotus Evora, finishing 6th overall in the GT4 class. The year would also see him race the final two rounds of the BTCC with Triple 8 racing.
He returned to the series in 2012 and continued in the championship up until 2019, racing with several teams such as AMD Tuning, Speedworks Motorsport and Motorbase Performance, securing two wins and numerous podiums.
The commencement of Ollie’s Porsche Carrera Cup campaign saw the team attend the annual media/launch day at the iconic Silverstone Circuit with all 3 JTR drivers displaying their striking new livery’s ahead of the new season on 27 March. The new season starts at Donington Park on the weekend of 22 April.
